About the Artist:
Influenced by art forms such as kawaii graphics and Huichol yarn paintings, Kev Munday creates vibrant and colorful works inspired by people-watching and everyday life. The combination of his inspirations and influences has developed into his own cartoonesque style. Starting his artistic career at the age of 16, Munday’s first endeavors were in the form of street art, including post-ups, walls, and leaving stickers on public furniture. After a fellow artist and friend suggested Munday transfer his work onto canvas, he continued to use the bold lines and vibrant colors he was leaving on the streets. Munday has created artwork for brands such as Walt Disney, Graham & Brown Wallpaper, Uni-Ball, and Fracture Skateboards.
