'The Glittering Queen of Pop Art'
Emma Gibbons is an internationally renowned artist from the South West, UK. Her bright, glittering artwork can be found in homes and galleries across the world. Her clients include Hollywood superstar Margot Robbie, Zoe Ball, Danny Dyer, and Dawn French.
Born into a family of Cornish pirates, Emma developed an obsession with treasures and misdemeanours early in life. Her showstopping artworks are created out of miniature hand-crafted components, often involving precious and curious materials.
Emma's 2023 solo show BARBIECORE, at the 5-star ME Hotel on The Strand (London), received widespread critical acclaim and was featured in Hello! Magazine, Sky News, and Harper's Bazaar. Her sold-out 2022 solo exhibition POP IT LIKE IT’S HOT (Piccadilly) was also praised by The Evening Standard, BBC News, Time Out, and The Daily Star.
Emma studied Fine Art & Illustration at university, earning degrees from Camberwell College of Art (MA), the London College of Printing (BA), and London Guildhall University (Foundation).
She is a regular participant in The Affordable Art Fair and has exhibited extensively in London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
