About the Artist:
Mr. Brainwash is the pseudonym of Thierry Guetta, a French-born street artist based in Los Angeles. He rose to prominence as the central figure in Banksy’s 2010 documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop. Mr. Brainwash is known for his colorful, ironic mashups of pop culture icons and art historical references. His work bridges graffiti and fine art, employing screen printing, stenciling, and mixed media techniques.
He has collaborated with major brands and artists, including designing album covers for Madonna and Rick Ross, and his work has been exhibited and collected globally, often selling for six figures on the secondary market.
