About the Artist:
Alexander Hall, also known by his alias “Haut de Gamme” (French for “top of the range”), is a London-based mixed-media artist celebrated for his vibrant, energetic, and materially rich artworks. Since founding his art platform Haut de Gamme in 2010, Alex has produced original works and installations for high-end residential and commercial clients across the globe.
He began selling art in 2007 but fully committed to a professional career in 2010. In 2018, he was commissioned by IHG to celebrate their 200th hotel with a large-scale installation. Known for his ability to work across styles while embedding emotion and contemporary flair, Hall often paints on canvas, linen, and wood, sometimes extending his creativity to furniture, cars, and clothing. His trademark “drip” style represents structure and movement—hallmarks of his evolving artistic identity.
Alexander draws inspiration from his family lineage of artists, designers, and innovators. With clients ranging from everyday collectors to Peter Jones CBE, who owns over 20 of his works, Alex Hall continues to rise as a dynamic force in contemporary art.
